The Belle at Avery, built in 1890 is located in historic downtown Morganton NC. The combination of Colonial Revival and Victorian era design elements are maintained in this newly renovated home. This property was formerly a school and a bed and breakfast and is a short walk to craft breweries, restaurants, music venues and everything downtown Morganton has to offer.

Meet the Host

Samantha Reid is a flight attendant and owner of The Belle at Avery. Sam's interests include cooking, gardening, staying fit and traveling around the world! Sam is a Superhost experienced, highly rated hosts who are committed to providing great stays for guests.

"The Belle at Avery was such a great place to stay, in a safe neighborhood with easy parking and within walking distance of downtown Morganton. An amazing home with a beautiful front porch all set up for eating or just enjoying the evening or morning. Room was super clean, with 4 star hotel level linens and blankets, comfortable bed and wonderful thoughtful touches that made you feel welcome and appreciated! Sam, your innkeeper, offers an amazing experience with a welcoming smile and enjoyable conversation. I would gladly pay more to stay here again! WORTH MENTIONING: - Wonderful old home, beautifully decorated - Bathroom was huge, great walk in shower and deep soaking tub - TV had cable and was a smart TV with Roku (if you have your own subscriptions) - In room Keurig, with assortment of coffees and teas - Fresh fruit and chocolate, what an amazing treat! Exactly as you see it in the pictures!"
